Trulioo is included in the Regulatory &amp; Compliance section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are truly honored to be included in CB Insights\u2019 Fintech 250 roster for a second year alongside some of the most transformative and prestigious fintech companies in the world,\u201d said Steve Munford, CEO of Trulioo.&nbsp; \u201cNow more than ever, we need to ensure that the most vulnerable people in societies all over the world have access to basic financial and healthcare services.&nbsp; We believe that <a href=\"\/blog\/identity-verification\/digital-identity-network\">digital identity<\/a> is critical to achieving full financial inclusion and building trust in the digital economy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trulioo was previously selected to CB Insights\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trulioo.com\/blog\/trulioo\/cb-insights-fintech-250\">Fintech 250 in 2017<\/a>. Trulioo then CEO (now Chairman) Stephen Ufford noted \u201cRegTech is a subset of fintech and plays a crucial role, enhancing customer experience by leveraging new technologies to help reduce costs, provide a competitive advantage, and drive more effective and efficient regulation and <a href=\"\/blog\/aml-compliance\">compliance<\/a>. In turn, this enables fintech companies to focus their attention on product innovation, problem solving, and the continual reinvention of the financial services industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through an evidence-based approach, the CB Insights Intelligence Unit selected the Fintech 250 from a pool of 16,000 companies, including applicants and nominees, based on several factors. These factors include patent activity, investor quality, news sentiment analysis, proprietary Mosaic scores, market potential, partnerships, competitive landscape, team strength, and tech novelty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the companies on this year\u2019s list include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Coinbase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>eToro<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Klarna<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monzo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N26<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payoneer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Revolut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Robinhood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stripe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transferwise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WorldRemit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-measuring-the-overall-health-and-growth-potential-of-fintech-companies\">Measuring the overall health and growth potential of fintech companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mosaic Score, based on CB Insights\u2019 algorithm, measures the overall health and growth potential of private companies to help predict a company\u2019s momentum. The CB Insights research team selects the Fintech 250 companies based on several factors including data submitted by each company and their Mosaic Score. The Mosaic Score, based on CB Insights\u2019 algorithm, measures the overall health and growth potential of private companies. Through this evidence-based, statistically-driven approach, the Mosaic Score can help predict a company\u2019s momentum, market health and financial viability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re proud to, once again, recognize the 250 best private fintech companies globally.
